Job Description: Business Development Manager - Art Karat Jewellery

Location: New Delhi, India (with extensive travel to USA and other international locations)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to expand our retail presence and develop new exhibition opportunities for Art Karat Jewellery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and opening new store locations, building partnerships with local retailers, and developing new cities for Art Karat exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential cities and locations for new stores and exhibitions. Analyze customer demographics, market trends, and competitive landscape.

- Store Development: Identify, evaluate, and secure new store locations. Work closely with real estate agents, property owners, and other stakeholders to negotiate leases and contracts.

- Exhibition Development: Plan, coordinate, and execute exhibitions in new cities. Collaborate with event organizers, venues, and other partners to ensure successful events.

- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local retailers, designers, and other business partners to create mutually beneficial collaborations.

- Brand Promotion: Work with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies for new stores and exhibitions. Represent Art Karat Jewellery at industry events and networking functions.

- Sales Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for new stores and exhibitions. Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

- Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of sales and business development professionals to support store openings and exhibitions. Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to ensure team success.

- Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all new stores and exhibitions meet Art Karat's quality standards and comply with local regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.- At least 5 years of experience in business development, retail expansion, or related roles.- Strong understanding of the jewellery industry and retail landscape.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Proven track record of opening new stores and developing new markets.- Ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.- Experience in organizing and managing exhibitions or large-scale events is a plus.
