System Administrator – Beam Wallet

Location: Remote / International

About the Role

We are hiring a highly skilled System Administrator to strengthen our global team. This professional will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, performance, and scalability of our technological infrastructure, making sure Beam Wallet services are always available and running at maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor servers (Linux, Windows, cloud and on-premise).
  • Administer environments in AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure , focusing on scalability and high availability.
  • Implement, maintain, and monitor security systems, backups, and disaster recovery .
  • Automate administration processes (scripts, CI/CD, pipelines).
  • Monitor networks, firewalls, VPNs, and traffic to ensure connectivity and security.
  • Conduct periodic audits on performance, security, and compliance (including PCI DSS).
  • Integrate and maintain monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
  • Collaborate with development, support, and security teams to optimize operations.
  • Manage access, permissions, and authentication policies (IAM, MFA, Zero Trust).
  • Document configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support in critical incidents.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or similar (not mandatory if experience is proven).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a SysAdmin or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian) and Windows Server .
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid knowledge of networks, protocols, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers .
  • Experience with monitoring and logging (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
  • Experience in automation scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Knowledge of system security and compliance.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in blockchain and Web3 .
  • Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, RHCSA, CompTIA Security+).
  • Experience in FinTech or digital payments environments.
  • Familiarity with quantum security and advanced cryptography.
