Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales and Marketing to lead our efforts in driving revenue growth and building market presence for our software product development company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both sales and marketing, with the ability to develop strategies that align with the company’s goals, build high-performing teams, and foster client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
● Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth objectives.
● Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities to position the company’s offerings effectively.
● Collaborate with product and technology teams to align marketing campaigns and sales efforts with product roadmaps and innovations.
Sales Management:
● Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
● Build and manage a high-performing sales team, providing leadership, mentorship, and setting clear performance goals.
● Establish and monitor sales KPIs, ensuring the team meets or exceeds targets.
● Cultivate relationships with key clients and partners to enhance brand loyalty and create upselling opportunities.
Marketing Leadership:
● Oversee the development of marketing plans, including digital marketing, content creation, branding, and events.
● Lead go-to-market strategies for new products and updates, ensuring impactful launches.
● Optimize lead generation campaigns and ensure seamless integration with sales activities.
● Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and refine strategies based on performance metrics.
Business Development:
● Identify and explore new market opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
● Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand visibility.
● Collaborate on pricing strategies and customer acquisition plans to ensure competitive positioning.
Qualifications and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
● 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within software or technology sectors.
● Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
● Expertise in digital marketing, branding, and lead generation strategies.
● Strong understanding of software product development and technology trends.
● Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
