How do you ensure well-controlled, timely, and efficient financial reporting processes while overseeing auditors freely to meet goals? As the Financial Reporting Assistant Manager, you will assist the Head of Reporting with monthly and annual statutory consolidation and group reporting processes, focusing on subsidiary financial statement preparation and audit processes. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring scalability and best-in-class financial reporting. What you will be doing:
Support statutory audits and filing of entity accounts to meet legal requirements. Maintain subsidiary financial statements and audits proactively Preparation of technical papers to ensure compliance with IFRS and other local reporting requirements for all SHL legal entities Assist monthly reporting close process and preparation of consolidated reporting package in line with published goals, including journals and monthly reconciliations as required Assist the FP&A, Finance Business Partner and Sales teams in understanding consolidation reports, IFRS and other technical aspects of accounting as required. Continuously improve the efficiency and control of all consolidation, audit and reporting processes to achieve finest in class quality.
What we are looking for from you:
Essential: Qualified CA with Technical accounting skills, particularly in IFRS Working in a financial reporting team Independently managing auditors to deliver to deadlines
Desirable: Strong verbal and written communication Exceptional stakeholder management Strong organisational and planning experience
