Job Description:

1 Safety:1.1 SOPs/Task List for Operation/Maintenance covering Safety, etc.1.2 Safety Drive Implementation: Near Miss, Unsafe Act/Condition Reporting, Safety Tool Box Talk, PTW, LOTO, Mock Drills, Tabletop Exercise, Safety Theme for the Month, 5 S, etc.1.3 Training/Refresher: Basic Safety (1.2, 1.3), Mass Awareness Session, BBS, etc.1.4 Incident Analysis and evolving Action Plan + Legal Compliance.1.5 Engineering Control - Modification/upgradation for improving the safety - Equipment / System, Poke-yoke, etc

2 Environment:Environment Equipment / System - upkeeping to ensure its Performance Parameters are within acceptable norms - Housekeeping, Maintenance, Inspection, etc.

3 Health:3.1 Health Monitoring - Engineers & Associates3.2 First Aid Training

4 Maintenance:4.1 Equipment & System Health Assessment Maintenance Annual Plan & Execution - Routine & Major Shutdown4.2 Planned Maintenance - Time/Production Based4.3 Unplanned Maintenance4.5 Break-down Analysis & Improvement Plan

5 Operation:Shutdown Planning & Execution

Function Skills:Machine, Equipment and Health, Area in Charge is the responsible person for entire Repair shop activities from Caster Operation side.Caster Production planning activities, Process control and Audit, Segment refurbishment is to ensure the mechanical equipment (Static and Rotary) and maintaining their reliability towards maximum plant availability. Possess basic domain knowledge/expertise on Mechanical Drawing & Part List Reading, Process SOP, Process Trials, IMS, Manpower planning / Training, Final Bill certification & Signing, HSE (PSM, HIRAC, HAZOP study, Emergency response plan, Aspect impact analysis.(AIA) & Safe operating procedures for safe plant operation), Lean CTR Coordinator, Sujhav / PAA / FMEA.Repair Area Shop beautification job, He must have the domain expertise on Operation aspects – Review, Monitor & Control of safety compliance, plant equipment reliability modifications, Implementation of preventive and condition base maintenance system. Weekly, Monthly and Yearly Shut down planning, projects to reduce the consumables planning and alternate vender development through Local Vendors to reduce OPEX cost & inventory also.Machine equipment’s & Critical spares readiness in close coordination with Inspection & planning group. He must ensure readiness & timely availability of all critical spares which is essential for trouble free running of main machine & without any hindrance to production demand. Implementation of 5's activities within workplace with more focus of techno commercial housekeeping.Daily TBT before execution of work, check & ensure availability of ready critical spares & plan for spare preparation.Development & implementation of new products with latest features. Arrange meetings, seminars, and presentations of new suppliers under new vendor development drive.Change Management Drives, Safety & Environment compliance, and Nurturing of Employees & Associates.
