Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and performance
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend evaluations to identify growth opportunities.
  • Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits and recommend improvements for site architecture, crawlability, and indexation.
  • Optimize on-page elements (meta tags, headers, schema, internal linking, etc.) to maximize search rankings.
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure high-quality, SEO-friendly content aligned with search intent.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog.
  • Track KPIs, generate performance reports, and communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on SEO best practices, algorithm changes, and industry trends to ensure strategies remain competitive.
  • Mentor junior SEO specialists and provide training/support to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4–6+ years of proven SEO experience, ideally in both agency and in-house environments.
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog).
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Drupal).
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Search Console.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Experience with international SEO and/or e-commerce SEO is a plus.
