Quantiphi - Senior Data Engineer - Quicksight

Role : Senior Data Engineer
Experience Range : 3-7 Years
Work Location : Mumbai/ Bangalore/ Trivandrum (Hybrid)
Responsibilities :
- Design and Implement Data Pipelines : Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or lakes, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
- Amazon Quicksight and AWS Expertise : Utilize Amazon Quicksight for data visualization and analytics and leverage AWS services such as S3, EC2, EMR, Redshift, and Glue to design and manage robust data architectures.
- Data Quality : Implement data quality standards, ensuring data accuracy with other requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication : This role requires close collaboration with data scientists, analysts, product managers, and IT teams to understand data needs and provide tailored data structures. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
- Problem-Solving and Analytics : Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Technical Knowledge :
Must Have :
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing dashboards using Amazon Quicksight.
- Advanced knowledge of Python and Linux shell scripting.
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL, Postgres, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL tools, and data modeling.
- Expertise in Amazon Quicksight for data visualization and analytics, including the development of dashboards and reports for senior leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong business acumen and capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Good to Have :
- Exposure to PowerBI/Tableau for different business personas.
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, EMR, Redshift, Glue).
