Key Responsibilities:
Network Management: Oversee and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless networks, and internet connectivity.
System Administration: Manage servers (both on-premises and cloud-based), ensuring they are secure, updated, and functioning efficiently.
Technical Support: Provide timely technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Cybersecurity: Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, antivirus software, and data protection measures to safeguard the company’s IT systems.
User Management: Administer user accounts, access permissions, and IT-related onboarding/offboarding processes.
Backup and Recovery: Ensure regular data backups are in place and maintain disaster recovery procedures.
Hardware & Software Maintenance: Manage IT inventory, including computers, printers, and office equipment. Ensure timely installation of software updates and patches.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party service providers and vendors to ensure smooth delivery of IT services.
IT Policy Enforcement: Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an IT Administrator or similar role managing IT infrastructure, networks, and systems.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient in network administration, server management (Windows/Linux), cloud computing (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to handle complex technical issues independently.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing systems and documenting processes.
