Job Title: Assistant Vice President (AVP) – IT InfrastructureLocation: Mumbai, Andheri (E)Department: Information Technology / InfrastructureReports To: Vice President Job Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure, including data centers, cloud services, networks, and security systems. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and management of the company's IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. The AVP of Infrastructure will lead a team of IT professionals, collaborate with other departments, and contribute to the overall technology strategy of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Management:Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including data centers, networks, servers, and cloud services.Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems.Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for infrastructure-related services and products.Project Management: Lead infrastructure-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Monitor project progress, manage risks, and report on project status to stakeholders.Infrastructure Strategy & Planning:Develop and implement long-term IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives.Collaborate with senior management to align infrastructure goals with overall company objectives.Security & Compliance:Ensure the IT infrastructure complies with industry regulations and security standards.Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Collaborate with the information security team to implement robust security measures.Team Leadership & Development:Lead a team of IT infrastructure professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and security experts.Manage resource allocation, performance evaluations, and professional development for the team.Qualifications:Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.G., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) is preferred.Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a IT Ifra Leader role. - Proven track record in managing mid, large-scale IT infrastructure projects - Experience with cloud technologies, virtualization, and data center management.Skills: - In-depth knowledge of network architecture, systems administration, and security practices
