About Us

The ffreedom app is India's largest platform for Entrepreneurs, designed to empower individuals across various sectors by providing practical video-based learning. With a library of over 500+ courses, the app covers a wide range of topics, including personal finance, agriculture, animal husbandry, and numerous business sectors such as handicrafts, retail, service industries, and home-based ventures. Recently we have launched an AI Powered bot (SRI Chatbot) which can help customers to seek knowledge on any of the topics related to the categories we offer in the platform.

Our mobile app serves over 1.3 crore users and offers courses in six languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu. We are looking for a talented Product Manager to help shape the future of our platform by delivering intuitive, user-friendly experiences across mobile, web, and desktop applications.

Role Overview

As a Product Manager , you will be responsible for identifying customer problems by user research, data analysis and stakeholder collaboration. Document the user stories, product requirements, and design specifications, and be comfortable with presenting ideas as low-fidelity wireframes. Create and own your backlog priorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Co-Creation : Create and lead develop impactful features and use creativity to make it happen

2. Prioritization : Create and maintain backlog. Fluency with prioritization frameworks with ability to do trade-offs with convincing reasoning

3. Road mapping: Create roadmaps for complex features and break it into multiple phases as per the business need and bandwidth constraints

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with fellow product managers, product designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver user centric solutions that align with business objectives. Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are effectively translated into production

5. Data Driven Analytics : Able to understand product analytics and can define the success metrics of each of the functionality you are building. Fluent with Funnel analysis, user path analysis and can analyze raw data easily

6. Proficient with Atlassian Ecosystem : Contribute to our product documentation and create user stories. Work with the project managers for the timely delivery of release candidates. (We are using Confluence for documentation, Jira for release deliverables and Atlas for release management)

7. Agile Practices: Contribute to our release life cycle, and be part of various activities from sprint planning, check ins, retrospective sessions.

8. Interpersonal Skills: Seek information, ask questions, define the scope, and be relentless in your quest to make your colleagues' jobs easy by reducing work iterations and removing information barriers.

Qualifications

1. Experience : 5+ years of experience in product management for B2C applications with engineering and software development background

2. Product Management : Experience in B2C Start -Up / Product Company

3. Product Expertise : Hands-on experience with Product Management tools like Jira/Confluence/Atlas, Analytics (Google Analytics, Metabase etc), Design tool (Figma), Flowcharting tools.

4. Product Process : Owned the entire product pipeline including, product vision, designs, bugs, workflows, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.

5. Collaboration : Experience working closely with engineers in a product based company

6. Platform Experience : Previous experience designing for mobile apps, web apps, and desktop platforms.

7. Languages : Familiarity with working for multilingual platforms is a plus.
