About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts for a Talent Technology SaaS product company, which also offers mobile applications in the talent space.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving both traditional and digital marketing strategies to enhance brand recall and generate marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) for revenue growth including mobile app business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in performance marketing, brand management, and lead generation.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Development and Execution:

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support the company’s growth objectives- Lead the creation of marketing plans that incorporate traditional, digital, and performance marketing initiatives- Ensure alignment of marketing strategies with the company's overall business goals and revenue targets

Brand Management:

- Strengthen and maintain the company's brand identity and presence in the market- Develop and execute branding campaigns to increase brand awareness and recall- Monitor and analyze brand performance, making adjustments as necessary to maintain brand integrity and relevance

Digital and Performance Marketing:

- Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and PPC campaigns- Implement performance marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention- Use data analytics to measure and optimize the effectiveness of digital campaigns

Lead Generation and Revenue Growth:

- Develop and manage campaigns to generate marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) for the sales team- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless lead handoff and follow-up processes- Track and report on key metrics related to lead generation and conversion rates

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and high-performance- Provide guidance and support for the professional development of team members- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer success, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.- Use insights from research to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging marketing technologies.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.- Proven experience (7+ years) in a marketing leadership role, preferably within the SaaS and mobile app industries.- Strong background in both traditional and digital marketing, with a focus on performance marketing.- Demonstrated success in brand management and lead generation.- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.- Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
