The Assistant Manager/ Manager – Admissions (Outreach) position for MIT WPU is a dynamic and multifaceted role focused on designing and executing strategies to boost visibility and engagement with prospective students for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. To strategize and implement outreach initiatives that maximize visibility and drive lead-to-admission conversions for UG and PG programs.

2. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Design and implement outreach strategies to enhance visibility and reach for target audiences.
  • Leverage regional and national data analytics to identify trends and optimize strategies.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Achieve outreach targets for the assigned region in terms of leads, applications, and admissions.
  • Establish relationships with schools, colleges, universities, and coaching centers to organize events such as presentations, workshops, and academic fairs.
  • Identify and prioritize engagement opportunities with institutions that have provided strong enrollments previously.
  • Plan and execute a detailed outreach calendar (weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly).
  • Organize and participate in events like open houses, principals’ meets, and counsellors’ workshops.
  • Manage logistics, travel, and materials for events.
  • Funnel management for leads, applications, and admissions.
  • Produce regular reports and contribute to the go-to-market plan.

Financial and Budget Management

  • Monitor and optimize outreach budgets to ensure effective utilization.

Collaborations

  • Build and maintain relationships with school administrators, counsellors, and coaching center heads.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Communications, Faculty, and Accounts teams.

Admissions Engagement

  • Collaborate with the admissions team to convert leads into successful applications.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective students and their influencers.
  • Assist in admissions-related activities and adhere to compliance standards.

External Representation

  • Represent MIT WPU at professional bodies and community platforms to promote the brand.
  • Build relationships with government agencies, societal groups, and other external stakeholders.
