Job Title: Accounts Executive (
Payable & Receivable)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Payable & Receivable Executive to manage vendor payments, customer collections, and reconciliation of financial transactions. The role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims.

Verify accuracy of invoices and supporting documents.

Ensure timely payments to vendors as per agreed credit terms.

Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain records of all AP transactions and prepare AP reports.

Monitor outstanding payables and manage payment schedules.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

Generate and issue customer invoices on time.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments.

Maintain accurate records of AR transactions.

Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing disputes.

Prepare AR aging reports and highlight overdue accounts.

Coordinate with sales and operations teams to ensure proper collections.

General Accounting & Reporting:

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing.

Prepare reconciliations of AP/AR ledgers with the general ledger.

Support audits by providing necessary documentation.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies and statutory regulations.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proven experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar).

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.

Problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Additional Competencies (Preferred):

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.

Team coordination and reporting skills.
