About the Role :

We are seeking a Sales Agronomist with a strong background in horticulture crops to join our team. Based in the eastern states of Australia , a region experiencing significant growth in irrigation infrastructure and investments in vegetables , fruit orchards , wine grapes , and other innovative agricultural projects, this role will work closely with local growers.


You will provide expert agronomy services to clients in sectors like viticulture , horticulture , fruit crops , pastures , and broadacre crops , depending on your expertise and interests. Specific training will be provided to enhance your skills, helping you grow forward in your new role.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver high-level agronomy services to existing clients and build relationships with new ones.
  • Collaborate with the sales agronomy team to offer tailored advice that supports clients' business objectives.
  • Assist in identifying pests and weeds in crops and recommend effective solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a dynamic, results-focused team that prioritizes customer success.


Skills & Experience :

  • Tertiary qualification in agriculture or relevant industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of horticulture and viticulture sectors (experience in viticulture will be highly regarded).
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
