Overview :

The DuckCreek Developer plays a critical role in our organization, responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions using DuckCreek applications.

This position is vital in the implementation and enhancement of business process automation and insurance software solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop DuckCreek software solutions

- Design and develop software applications using DuckCreek and related technologies

- Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of DuckCreek applications

- Ensure compliance with coding and quality standards

- Participate in Agile development processes and ceremonies

- Integrate DuckCreek applications with other systems and applications

- Provide technical support and maintenance for DuckCreek software solutions

- Identify and address technical issues and risks

- Document software designs, procedures, and configurations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

- Stay updated with DuckCreek software updates, patches, and new features

- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives

- Participate in problem-solving and decision-making activities

- Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards

- Support software deployment and release activities

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- Proven 7+ years of experience in developing DuckCreek applications and solution

- Experience in Duck Creek V7.X (Example Author, Example Server and Example Express , Forms, Page Design, Rating Development)

- Good hands on experience of working with Transact/ Server Object Requests, Integration, UserAdmin, New Product development etc.

- Very good understanding of Insurance domain, especially multiple LOBs in commercial insurance

- Strong hands on experience in Duckcreek Policy module

- Ability to configure new products on DuckCreek platform , Experience in DuckCreek production application support

- Good understanding of ITIL concepts like incident and Service request management

- Experience in working on .Net web-based projects definite plus

- Good knowledge of HTML, ASP.Net, XML, SQL programming in MS SQL Server 2008 or later , XSLT, CSS, Javascript is a definite plus.

- Strong understanding of the DuckCreek Example Platform and related tools

- Proficiency in software development using C# and .NET framework

- Knowledge of insurance industry processes and practices

- Experience in Agile software development methodologies

- Ability to integrate DuckCreek applications with third-party systems

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

- Experience with version control and continuous integration tools

- Understanding of software security and performance considerations

- Familiarity with web services, APIs, and integration technologies

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices

- Certifications in DuckCreek technologies (optional, but a plus)
