Position Details-

Position: Senior Manager

Function: Strategic Sourcing

Reports to: Plant Head

Location: Ludhiana (HYM)


Specifications-

Experience (in years) : 10 – 12 Years

Industry Preferred : Automotive (Mechatronics and BLDC Motor)

Qualifications : B. Tech./M. Tech.


Job purpose-

Responsible for monitoring vendor development, processes, strategies and implementing process improvement.


Roles & responsibilities-

  • Establish relationships with suppliers to partner on strategy development and drive productivity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Project and risk management.
  • Act as an advisory for product development and coordinate changes in products/processes.
  • Improve the supply chain performance through improved supply chain planning practices.
  • Manage competitive sourcing processes.
  • Manage supply base to ensure supply continuity, service, and quality.


Functional competencies-

Knowledge of leading practices in procurement and strategic sourcing as well as operational model for shared services program and able to manage a high-volume work in fast paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.


Behavioral competencies-

Team Player, Leadership skills, Relationship building, Communication, Honesty.
