Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Data Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, excellent Excel skills, and a solid understanding of financial data and reporting. As a Data Analyst in the Finance team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret financial data, trends, and forecasts. Create, maintain, and update financial models and reports using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.). Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes by providing data insights and reconciliation. Assist in the preparation of budget reports and financial statements. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline data collection and reporting. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data used for decision-making. Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and insights for reporting. Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and data-driven recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis). Experience with financial modeling and reporting. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting. Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights. Good communication skills to present findings to stakeholders. Knowledge of financial software or tools (e.g., SAP, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Preferred Skills: 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis or data analysis. Experience working in a corporate finance environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
