Engineer II - Mobile

Albert s mission is to foster a software platform that uses big data and machine learning to accelerate the invention of new formulations and novel materials drastically. We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage innovative iOS applications using Flutter, ensuring they remain at the forefront of technology and user experience.
  • Design and implement efficient and scalable Flutter app structures tailored specifically for iOS devices, focusing on performance and sustainability.
  • Contribute to the design and development of backend structures, ensuring seamless integration with frontend Flutter applications.
  • Guarantee that applications are responsive across various platforms and devices, optimizing user experience and interface adaptability.
  • Stay updated with the latest Flutter trends and advancements.
  • Deep understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Should also have strong problem-solving skills
  • Display strong project management skills, leading projects from inception to completion and providing guidance and leadership within the organization.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in development of Android / iOS applications and have deployed them on Google Play/App Store.
  • Minimum 1.5 years' experience in Flutter.
  • In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented programming languages like Java and C++.
  • Familiarity using version control tools like Git, Subversion etc. and IDEs like Android Studio, VS Code etc.
  • Understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle and been exposed to Scrum projects.
  • Knowledge of Dart programming language, Rest APIs and integration of various APIs from third parties.
  • Comfortable using test cases for debugging code, enhancing performance and reliability.

Good to have:

  • Understanding front-end languages like Angular, HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript.
  • Understanding/ experience in backend development.
