Job Title: Sr. Outbound Sales Specialist (OSS) / Sr. Sales Development Representative

Salary: ₹6-7 Lakhs per annum
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Sr. Outbound Sales Specialist to join our growing sales team. This role combines outbound prospecting with leadership, as you will also mentor a small sales team while driving business development. The right candidate will have strong experience in outbound sales, team management, and identifying new business opportunities to boost revenue.
You’ll be responsible for generating qualified leads, setting up high-value meetings, and working closely with the sales team to expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of outbound sales professionals.
Set performance targets, coach team members, and provide regular feedback to maximize team productivity.
Ensure the team meets or exceeds individual and collective sales goals.
Prospecting and Research:
Generate leads through tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases, and other sales tools.
Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers and key decision-makers.
Initial Outreach:
Execute targeted outreach through personalized emails, phone calls, and social media messages.
Utilize a multi-channel approach to engage prospects effectively.
Lead Nurturing:
Keep in touch with warm leads, ensuring consistent follow-ups via calls, emails, and messages.
Move leads down the funnel until they’re ready for a sales conversation.
Lead Qualification:
Qualify leads using frameworks like BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to evaluate their fit.
Conduct discovery calls to gather more information about prospects' needs and buying readiness.
Appointment Setting:
Schedule high-quality discovery meetings or product demos for the sales team.
Ensure a smooth transition from lead qualification to deal closure by Account Executives (AEs).
Tracking and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all activities in the CRM.
Monitor lead progress and adapt strategies based on CRM reports and sales metrics.
New Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market reach.
Collaborate with the sales team on strategies to enter new markets and generate revenue growth.
Build and sustain relationships with potential clients and key industry players.
Qualifications:
5-6 years of experience in B2B sales within the manufacturing industry (pipes, valves, filters, pumps, pharmaceuticals, or chemical products).
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Strong track record in lead generation and outbound sales.
Previous experience leading or managing a sales team.
Proven ability in business development and identifying new revenue opportunities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
Resilient, persistent, and goal-oriented.
