Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Technical Sales Manager to join our Mumbai-based team, focusing on the sales of Dry Break Couplings and Breakaway Couplings. The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in both the export and local markets, expanding the client base, and providing technical expertise to ensure that our solutions meet customer requirements. This position requires a combination of strong sales, technical, and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with clients and drive the growth of the company.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Indian market and internationally for Dry Break Couplings and Breakaway Couplings, targeting the oil and gas and chemical industries.
  2. Generate leads, analyze customer requirements, and propose customized coupling solutions to meet client needs and specifications.
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the target markets, providing exceptional customer service and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to develop tailored coupling solutions that address client challenges and requirements.
  5. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotes, emphasizing the unique benefits and features of our Dry Break and Breakaway Couplings.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure that our coupling solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.
  7. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in both the export and local markets.
  8. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, outlining progress towards targets, market trends, and customer feedback.
  9. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and promote the Driplex EngiTech LLP brand.


Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the engineering or technology sectors, with a focus on the oil and gas and chemical industries.
  3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business in a competitive environment.
  4. Strong technical knowledge of Dry Break and Breakaway Couplings, and the ability to understand complex engineering concepts, products, and solutions.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  6. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Knowledge of additional languages would be an advantage.
  7. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
