Lead Business Analyst –The role of an IT Business Analyst is crucial in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions within an organization. Below is a comprehensive review of the key responsibilities, skills, and qualifications associated with this position.

Key Responsibilities▪Team Management: Coach and mentor Business Analyst Team while overseeing performance management for team members▪Requirements Gathering – Business Intelligence KPIs: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, document requirements clearly through interviews and workshops, and analyze existing systems –

>o Lead requirement gathering workshops with key client stakeholders from Business and ITo Review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business objectives from a KPIs point of viewo Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user manuals▪Solution Design & Development: Work alongside technical teams to design IT solutions, creating functional specifications and prototypes to communicate requirements effectively –o

>o Data Analysis: Analyze data from various sources to identify trends that can drive business decisions and improvements. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple data sources, decompose high-level information into details.o Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts, test leads throughout SDLC.o Perform/participate in Data Analysis or Data Profiling activities, identify relevant risks and issues, communicate with client stakeholders towards resolution.▪Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead all testing activities for ICCC and Business Dashboards.o Collaborate with testing teams to develop test plans and ensure that solutions meet specified requirements▪Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, facilitating meetings and ensuring clear communication▪Communication: Ensure clear communication across client teams (onshore and offshore) regarding project deliverieso Manage client expectations independently or with support from management, ensuring results align with project plans▪Change Management: Assist in managing organizational change related to new IT implementations, including developing plans and providing user training

Skills Required▪Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities are essential for evaluating complex business problems and proposing effective solutions▪Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to convey ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders▪Business Acumen: Understanding organizational dynamics is crucial for aligning IT solutions with business goals – Preferred Airport and / Aviation Business▪Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT systems, software development methodologies, and specific technologies relevant to the industry (e.g., airline systems like CUSS, CUPPS) is importanto Data Analysis Proficiency: Skills in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) for reporting insights are vital for informed decision-makingo Nice to Have: Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to present findings to stakeholders.▪Project Management Skills: Experience in change management and project oversight is beneficial for ensuring successful implementation of IT solutions
