Role: Transition Manager
Location : Noida/Pune/Bangalore/Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Strategy : Develop and lead the overall transition and transformation strategy, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and success criteria for global initiatives.
Stakeholder Management: Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, business unit heads, regional leaders, and third-party vendors, to gain support, secure necessary resources, and maintain alignment throughout the transition process.
Global Leadership : Build and lead a high-performing, diverse, and globally distributed team in delivery , subject matter experts, and support staff to execute transition projects effectively.
Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks, issues, and challenges associated with global transitions and implement risk mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the progress and success of global transition projects. Provide regular status updates and reports to executive stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement efforts, capturing lessons learned from past transitions, and incorporate best practices into future projects.
Budget and Resource Management: Oversee and control the budget for global transition projects and allocate resources efficiently to meet project goals.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services during transitions.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and internal governance standards during global transitions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
Extensive experience (typically 15+ years) in managing complex global transitions, transformation projects, or large-scale programs.
Proven track record of leading global teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously across different regions.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile) and tools to drive project success.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) and project management certification (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable.
Experience in risk management, issue resolution, and problem-solving in a global context.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and manage budgets effectively.
Knowledge of business process improvement techniques, Lean Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an advantage.
Strong business acumen and the ability to align transition strategies with overall business objectives.
Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
