Summary
The Cosm Engineering team develops technology to deliver best-in-class experiences in our digital and live-streaming products. We are looking for a talented QA Manager to help ensure the quality and user experience across various platforms. We expect our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic when taking on new problems across the full stack as we continue to push the technology forward.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain test case management processes
  • Drive weekly releases of mobile and web applications
  • Manage and prioritize QA resources
  • Plan and coordinate test plans, test cases, test execution and reporting
  • Organize and prioritize the team workload to meet required deadlines.
  • Communicate recommendations, issues and risks to stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with a cross disciplinary team (Design, Product and Engineering)

Experience

  • The ideal candidate will be closely working with technical and business teams to plan, develop and maintain tests and to develop best practices. You will work in an energetic and highly creative environment with a group of highly talented, passionate, and successful individuals.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Over 12 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 5–7 years of hands-on leadership and team management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing QA teams.
  • Experience developing, maintaining and managing manual/automated testing strategies.
  • Proven success in onboarding, training and developing QA talent.
  • Experience in mentoring
  • Track record of contributing to the improvements in QA processes.
  • Experience with a variety of test tools and software testing best practices.
  • Extensive experience creating and managing test cases, test plans and test documentation.
  • Experience testing mobile and web applications.
  • Hands on experience testing physical hardware.
  • Experience hiring, mentoring team members and fostering professional growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
