Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team. The QA Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, managing the QA team, ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the QA team, including QA engineers, analysts, and testers.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, Operations) to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Oversee testing strategy including functional, regression, performance, and automated testing.
  • Define and track key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, test coverage, release readiness).
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, GDPR, HIPAA as applicable).
  • Manage tools and technologies to support automated and manual testing.
  • Mentor and train QA team members, fostering a culture of accountability and quality.
  • Communicate test plans, results, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Proven experience (8 years) in Quality Assurance, including at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • ISTQB or other QA certification.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of security testing practices.
