What are we looking for?

• Microsoft Azure technologies (core, designed and advanced skills)
• DevOps: Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Scripting skills for automation – Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes and Powershell.
• Capable of executing DevOps Projects: CI/CD with Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
• Basic knowledge of Severs and DB - RHEL Linux 5/6/7 Servers, Windows 2012/16, Oracle, SQL DBs.
• Understanding of Networks and services like DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP
• Stay Current with Cloud and Technologies

Role and Responsibilities:

• Desired candidate will be responsible for developing; deploying and maintaining large Amazon AWS based SaaS solutions.
• Deploying, automating, maintaining, troubleshooting and improving the systems that keep the backend infrastructure run smoothly.
• The role requires candidate to have hands-on technical experience and a can-do approach towards environment automation, management and continuous
• Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems
• Build, release and configuration management of production systems
• Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of our products / services.
• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
• Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
• Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
• Ensuring critical system security through best in class cloud security solutions
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential. Coordinate and collaborate with larger team in US will be essential part of the role
• Should be skilled on broad range of Azure technologies, Operating systems (Windows, Linux) and other application environments (Oracle DB, SQL Server, IIS, SAP, S3 etc), with an emphasis on the implementation of best practice using cloud automation services and security principles
• Sound Technical knowledge of Domain specified
• Good communication Skills
• Should have flair of working on latest and greatest technologies and automate day-to-day tasks to reduce efforts.
• Experience of working enterprise tools for monitoring, ticketing, security and systems management like HP OV, CMDB, Service Now, CyberArk, Satellite Patching, Altiris etc.
• Should comply with security standards.
• Open for rotating in 24x7 shifts for production environment support and going on call.
• Knowledge of managing an enterprise level DC and managing its security standards.
• Prior experience of working for US and UK based customers
• Good analytical skills for Production support
• Professional commitment to high quality, and a passion for learning new skills.
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and technologies.
• Strong problem solving skills, including providing simple solutions to complex situations.
• Must be a strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a geographically disperse working environment
• Good Communication skills to handle major incident calls and releases.
• Hands-on technical experience and a can-do approach towards environment management, automation and bring continuous improvement.
• Strong problem solving skills, including providing simple solutions to complex situations.
• Must be a strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a geographically disperse working environment
