JOB OVERVIEW
The Manager – Sales Operations is held responsible for sales planning and forecasting, reporting, customer relationship management systems and sales processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for sales pipeline management, forecasting and contract flow management by project managing the rolling ten quarter (“R10Q”) sales forecast; customer allocation and technology conversion, contract and sales pipeline business processes.
Act as the single point of contact and interface with manufacturing, including customer allocation implementation, technology conversion, and lead time communication.
Oversees commercial project execution, sales related activities pertaining to SIOP (sales, inventory, and operations planning), PO updates and customer scheduling coordination and communication.
Lead sales reporting, metric development and the sales client relationship management (“CRM”) infrastructure to include R10Q unconstrained demand forecast (SG1) and the constrained demand (SG2) and the Beginning-of-Quarter (BOQ) and End-of-Quarter (EOQ) sales funnel updates.
Oversee and ensure the success of CRM implementation and use.
Develop and implement an effective sales data analytics system including new data structures and optimizing existing data structures to support deal conversions.
Provides ongoing training and education to the sales operations team to ensure its ability to execute on the Company and team goals and objectives.
Builds a strong sales operations team by ensuring effective coaching and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or engineering is desired.
Post-graduate degree (MBA, Operations Research or Data Science) is preferred.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing with last five (5) years as a senior sales operations leader is required .
Previous experience in the renewable energy, semiconductor, or oil & gas capital equipment is a plus .
