About the role
As sales design engineer you will work as part of a collaborative team to provide technical design solutions for baggage handling systems during the sales stage, working closely with the sales team, estimators, and other engineering disciplines to understand the client’s requirements and develop a solution that best meets their needs.
Engineer and design conveyor layout over client’s architectural plans according to the design requirement and specifications.
Provide technical support to the sales team during the bidding process.
Travelling to customer sites to meet with existing and potential customers
Analyse tender and opportunity requirements against product range, industry and local standards
Regular travel is a requirement for this role, the succesful applicant must be able to travel regularly both domestically and internationally.

Skills & Experie
nceTo succeed in this role you will need a process driven approach to work, and be confident with your planning and organisation skills. You will have experience with Computer Aided Design tools ideally AutoCAD & Navis works and be able to show strong communication and negotiation skills, and be able to work well in the ever changing world of projects. This role will require regular travel, so this is something you must be prepared to do. Your skillset should also include the followi
