Job Description:What you'll own in this role:The Senior Revenue Accountant is a detail-oriented individual who will play a key role in the accounting department at Health Catalyst. This person will assist in the completion of month end responsibilities and other accounting functions within the department. The Senior Revenue Accountant will report to the Revenue Accounting Manager.Review contracts for compliance and revenue implications under ASC 606Manage forecasted revenue timing in Workday and review for potential long-term accounting impactOversee accounts receivable processes for assigned contractsRespond to questions regarding customer invoicing matters inside and outside of the organizationFacilitate and complete monthly close procedures related to revenue and A/R including analyzing deferred revenue and unbilled balancesAssist with development of processes and controls to increase efficiency and mitigate risks as the Company growsAssist with providing data for finance to use in budgeting and forecastingAssist with the preparation of external audit documentation and other ad hoc projectsWhat you'll bring to this role:Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and vlookups), proficient with other MS Office applicationsStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606 knowledge preferredERP system experience, Workday is a plusStrong communication, both verbal and written; ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environmentAbility to work independently within a team environment; manage deadlines and competing prioritiesTeam player; willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities with a positive attitude to get the work completed and meet deadlinesEducation and Relevant ExperienceAccounting or Finance degree required2 - 4 years of accounting experiencePublic accounting preferred
