Role & responsibilities:
Capital Equipment Procurement:
- Identify requirements in collaboration with user departments.
- Float RFQs/RFPs, analyze techno-commercial bids, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best commercial terms, delivery schedules, and after-sales support.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of capital equipment as per project or departmental timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
AMC Contracts Management:
- Track equipment warranties and plan for AMC initiation prior to expiration.
- Coordinate with technical teams and vendors to draft scope of work for AMCs.
- Negotiate and finalize AMC terms, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain and update AMC contract database and ensure timely renewals and payments.
- Monitor vendor performance against contract terms and SLAs.
Vendor Agreements & Relationship Management:
- Draft, review, and finalize vendor agreements in collaboration with legal and finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and audit norms.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms.
General Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and initiate value engineering in procurement.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and procurement analytics for management review.
- Assist in audits, both internal and external, by providing necessary documentation and justifications.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.Sc OR Bachelors degree in Pharmacy OR Any Graduate.
- MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Materials Management.
