Senior Software Developer

Job Title: Senior Software DeveloperDepartment: Development TeamReports to: Technical Team LeadLocation: BangaloreJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to lead our software development efforts. This rolerequires a proactive leader adept at designing, coding, and optimizing complex software applications. The idealcandidate will possess a deep knowledge of various programming languages and development frameworks, witha primary focus on developing for the Shopify platform.Key Responsibilities:? Design and develop advanced software solutions that align with strategic business needs.? Lead project planning sessions with project managers and key stakeholders to ensure clear andexecutable specifications.? Foster a learning and growth environment within the team by mentoring junior developers.? Identify architectural improvements and lead development efforts to implement these changes in softwaresystems.? Conduct rigorous code reviews and maintain high development standards.? Document comprehensive software functionalities and ensure robust documentation across the team.? Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software to enhance performance and scalability.? Lead the integration of complex software components and third-party programs.? Ensure that projects comply with industry standards and company objectives, adopting new technologiesand methodologies to stay ahead.Qualifications:? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.? Over 7 years of software development experience with a proven track record of leading large-scaleprojects.? Expert proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript.? Experience with database integration, including SQL and NoSQL.? Deep understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile/Scrum.? Proven ability to architect complex software solutions and effectively document requirements andspecifications.? Experience in Shopify platform development.? Exceptional analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:? Significant experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their respectiveservices.? Advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.? Extensive experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.? Proficiency in using development tools such as Git, Jenkins, or JIRA.? Experience with Replit and Heroku platforms.? Strong background in developing on the Shopify platform with deep expertise in the Liquid templatelanguage and Shopify APIs.? Proficiency in using Google Tag Manager for advanced tracking and analytics.
