Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team as an in-house financial expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. This role is pivotal to the company's economic health and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
->Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable management insights.
->Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead the development, management, and monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts.
Analyze budget variances, providing recommendations for corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met.
->Tax Compliance and Planning:
Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities and enhance financial performance.
->Internal Controls and Compliance:
Design, implement, and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including GAAP and IFRS.
->Auditing:
Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and compliance with policies and regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate efficient and comprehensive audits.
->Financial Planning and Strategy:
Provide strategic financial planning and risk management advice to senior leadership.
Develop financial models and conduct scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
->Cost Management and Efficiency:
Oversee cost management initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement financial best practices across the organization.
->Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate financial results and insights clearly and effectively to senior management, board members, and other stakeholders.
Prepared and delivered comprehensive financial reports and presentations at board meetings.
->Investment and Fund Management:
Evaluate investment opportunities and manage corporate funds to ensure optimal returns and liquidity.
Develop and monitor investment strategies aligned with company objectives.
->Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
Minimum of 1+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles, preferably within a corporate setting.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
