Job Summary

Looking for an experienced Full Stack Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) & Java Developer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade digital platforms using AEM, strong backend development skills in Core Java, and modern frontend frameworks. This role requires deep knowledge of the AEM ecosystem as well as proficiency in Java-based APIs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain digital applications on AEM 6.x (Sites, Assets).
  • Build custom AEM components, templates, OSGi services, and servlets using Java, Sling, HTL (Sightly), and JCR.
  • Develop robust backend systems and microservices using Core Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
  • Create modern, responsive, and dynamic frontend interfaces using HTML5, CSS3/LESS/SASS, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks like or Angular.
  • Integrate AEM with external systems, third-party APIs, and Java-based microservices.
  • Implement DevOps practices using Maven, Jenkins, Git, and work with cloud environments like AEM as a Cloud Service or Adobe Managed Services.
  • Optimize code for performance, scalability, security, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG).
  • Configure and manage AEM Dispatcher, caching strategies, and content delivery best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years of overall experience with strong hands-on development in:
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) – Sites, Assets, Components, Workflows
  • Core Java / Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs
  • HTML5, CSS3/LESS, JavaScript, / Angular
  • JCR (Apache Jackrabbit), Sling Models, HTL (Sightly), OSGi Framework
  • Strong understanding of AEM architectural patterns and dispatcher caching mechanisms.
  • Good exposure to Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Personalization.
  • Hands-on experience in building secure and scalable APIs and middleware services.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, version control (Git), and automated testing tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Certified Expert (AEM Developer/Architect)
  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Exposure to Adobe Target, Launch, or Analytics.
  • Experience in multi-site, multi-language, or headless AEM implementations using GraphQL or SPA Editor.
  • Working knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes for Java-based deployments is a plus.
