Our collections are crafted at our state-of-the-art facility in Ludhiana, where advanced technology meets creative design to deliver products that rival leading international brands.As GEBE expands its design portfolio into indoor and contemporary lifestyle furniture, we continue to focus on developing products that combine aesthetic appeal, functionality, and sustainability, catering to architects, designers, and premium customers across India and abroad.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Product Design Executive / Intern – Furniture Design, based in Ludhiana.The role involves creating innovative furniture designs, researching global trends, and applying design thinking to develop functional and visually appealing products. The individual will work closely with production and R&D teams to ensure design feasibility, cost efficiency, and alignment with GEBE’s quality standards.This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to global product design practices, modern materials, and fabrication techniques, while contributing to the growth of the brand’s indoor and outdoor furniture range.QualificationsProficiency in Product Design and Visual Design principlesHands-on experience with 3D Design Software: Rhino, KeyShot, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360Understanding of Design Thinking and User-Centered DesignKnowledge of furniture materials (aluminum, rope, wicker, teak, etc.) and ergonomicsStrong skills in user research, trend analysis, and product storytellingExcellent communication, detailing, and teamwork abilitiesDegree or ongoing studies in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or related fieldPassion for innovative, sustainable, and market-relevant designWillingness to work on-site in Ludhiana for a minimum 2-year termKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop 3D models, renderings, and technical drawings for new furniture productsSupport concept creation, material selection, and prototype developmentResearch global furniture trends, finishes, and technologiesCollaborate with production and R&D teams for sampling and final product executionMaintain accurate design documentation, material lists, and design archivesContribute to design reviews and brainstorming sessions for new collectionsEnsure product designs reflect GEBE’s brand aesthetics and global benchmarks
