Role Description

This is a full-time paid internship on-site role for a Data Scraper – Target Audience Specialist at 1.5 degree located in South Delhi. The specialist will be responsible for data scraping, analyzing target audience data, managing data, and creating data models to optimize marketing strategies and product development.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Python scripts to extract contact information (email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses) from online directories, public websites, and professional platforms.

• Leverage advanced scraping tools and APIs to collect data efficiently from relevant industry sources.

• Research and identify credible sources such as industry forums, membership directories, event attendee lists, and business databases to collect accurate contact information.

• Compile, clean, and organize large datasets for easy access and analysis.

• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, local regulations).

• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align data collection with business needs.


What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Proven track record in web scraping and data collection with a focus on contact details.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Python with expertise in libraries such as Beautiful Soup, Scrapy, Selenium, or similar tools.

• Resourcefulness: Ability to identify and extract data from niche industry platforms and directories.

• Detail-Oriented: Strong data cleaning and management skills to ensure high-quality outputs.

• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with data privacy laws and ethical data scraping practices.
