Our client, a Leading Hospital Chain in India seeks to engage with Analyst Consultants who would support on a project on - Pricing and Contracts Harmonization.


This role is focused on financial research, data collection, analysis, and supporting the implementation of harmonization strategies. The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, data analysis experience, and the ability to work collaboratively.


Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection:

Gather information on tariffs and pricing across three tiers—Metro, Tier 2, and Tier 3—across the hospital network. Collect additional data on key parameters, such as specialty, location, and service types.

2. Data Analysis:

Analyze the collected data to identify pricing disparities and trends. Use advanced Excel features, including macros, for efficient analysis.

3. Support Strategy Development:

Provide insights from the analysis to support the Strategy Consultant in developing a standardized pricing framework.

4. Research Competitor Pricing:

Conduct research on competitor pricing strategies in key markets, providing valuable context for the harmonization project.

5. Assist in Implementation:

Support the implementation of the pricing harmonization strategy. Work closely with regional teams to ensure smooth execution.

6. Monitor Progress:

Keep track of the implementation process, identifying and reporting any issues or deviations from the plan. Make recommendations for adjustments as needed.

7. Prepare Reports:

Create comprehensive reports summarizing data analysis results, pricing trends, and other relevant findings. Present these reports to the Strategy Consultant and other stakeholders.

8. Support Negotiations:

Assist the Strategy Consultant during negotiations with insurance providers and public institutions by providing relevant data and analysis.

Expected Deliverables

1. Data Collection Reports:

Produce detailed reports documenting the collected data, including variations in pricing across hospital networks, segmented by Metro, Tier 2, and Tier 3.

2. Pricing Framework Analysis:

Develop analyses and insights that support the creation of a standardized pricing framework across the hospital chain.

3. Implementation Monitoring Reports:

Provide ongoing reports that monitor the implementation of the harmonization strategy, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and suggested refinements.

4. Negotiation Support Documents:

Prepare supporting documents for negotiations with insurance providers and public institutions, providing data-driven insights and analysis to support the harmonization strategy.


Skills Required


1. 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, research, or consulting, preferably in the healthcare domain.

2. Expertise in Finance and comfortable with numbers

3. Knowledge regarding hospital pricing mechanism is a plus

4. Strong Excel skills, including advanced features and macros.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

6. Good communication and collaboration skills.

7. Ability to work on-site in Chennai and commit to full-time hours


This project is for a duration of 6 Months, based at the client's headquarters i.e. Chennai and requires the consultant to devote Full Time Capacity in an Onsite (In-office) model.
