We are seeking a Senior Proposal Writing Specialist with demonstrated expertise in IT staffing proposals for U.S. federal clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in developing, writing, and managing proposals aligned with federal contract requirements, including familiarity with contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, Schedules, etc.). In this role, you will craft persuasive proposals that highlight ISoftechs strengths in IT staffing, compliance, and delivery capabilities while leveraging innovation and best practices to improve win rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end proposal development process, from RFP analysis to submission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, recruiting, delivery, and SMEs) to gather inputs and ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • Develop persuasive proposal content, including executive summaries, staffing approaches, compliance matrices, technical write-ups, past performance, and pricing narratives.
  • Customize proposals for federal government opportunities, ensuring alignment with contract vehicle requirements and agency expectations.
  • Research industry, competitors, and client needs to develop tailored, winning strategies.
  • Ensure proposals adhere to compliance standards, formatting guidelines, and timelines.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools for proposal structuring, content generation, editing, and compliance checks to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain a centralized proposal library with reusable templates, boilerplate content, and past performance write-ups.
  • Analyze feedback on submitted proposals and implement process improvements to increase win rates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in proposal writing, with at least 2+ years focused on IT staffing proposals for U.S. federal clients.
  • Hands-on experience with federal contract vehicles (e.g., GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, Schedules, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of the federal procurement lifecycle and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive content tailored for government audiences.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered proposal tools, compliance checkers, and design platforms is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with proposal management tools and design software is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally and independently.
