As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Chief Technology Office team, you play a crucial role in an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. As a key technical contributor, you are tasked with implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's business objectives. Job responsibilities Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in providing technical support and solutions. Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software issues. Optimize and maintain AWS infrastructure, including S3 buckets, Kafka, Redshift, glue, and DynamoDB Utilize Databricks for data processing and analytics tasks. Develop and maintain software applications using Java and Python. Design and implement APIs to enhance system integration and functionality. Create and maintain user interface (UI) pages to improve user experience. Ensure database integrity and performance through effective management and optimization. Implement best practices for software development and support processes. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on Software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience Hands on experience in software engineering with code development using JAVA, Springboot, Angular and REACT JS. Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Jules, or Spinnaker. Strong expertise in AWS services, including S3 buckets, , Kafka, Redshift, glue, and DynamoDB. Proficiency in Databricks for data analytics and processing. Strong database management skills and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience in working with APIs and creating UI pages. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Solid programming skills in Java or Python. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong leadership and communication skills.
