Roles & Responsibilities of an SSIS Developer

● ETL Development – Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into target systems (data warehouses, databases, reporting systems).

● SQL Development – Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data processing.

● Data Integration – Integrate data from multiple sources such as relational databases, flat files, Excel, XML/JSON, APIs, or cloud services.

● Performance Optimization – Tune SSIS packages and SQL queries to improve execution time and system performance.

● Error Handling & Logging – Implement robust error handling, logging, and notification mechanisms within SSIS packages.

● Data Quality & Validation – Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through validation and cleansing processes.

● Job Scheduling – Automate and schedule ETL jobs using SQL Server Agent or other scheduling tools.

● Production Support – Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL process failures in production environments.

● Collaboration – Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and reporting teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

● Documentation – Maintain clear documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications.

● Continuous Improvement – Proactively suggest improvements in ETL architecture, data models, and workflows.

● Data Security & Compliance – Follow best practices for secure data handling, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹50,000.00 per month
