Job Summary:

The Head of Alumni Relations will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with the institution’s alumni. The individual in this role will spearhead alumni engagement programs, foster alumni networking, and support initiatives that enhance alumni involvement with the university.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Heads of Schools, other support services like, career services, internships and industry partnership teams, parents, students, student affairs and alumni.
  • Undertake positive efforts which lead to the vision and purpose of alumni relations that include the increasing participation of alumni through various outreach activities and events across the globe.
  • Strategize and plan the vision and specific annual goals for successful alumni engagement activities in line with organisational objectives.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and promote the programmes that support the alumni relations goals.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive alumni relations strategy to foster engagement with the university.
  • Oversee alumni communication initiatives, including newsletters, events, and social media presence.
  • Plan and manage alumni events, including reunions, regional events, and virtual engagements.
  • Manage a team to execute the alumni relations strategy and oversee the alumni relations budget.
