Automation QA Engineer

With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.About the role:As an Automation QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

Collaboratively with other roles discuss User Stories and translate them into automated test casesMaintain, and enhance java-based automation test frameworks for backend batch and API testingImplement and execute tests of different types such as functional, regression, performance tests on javaMonitor and analyzes executions in tools like Jenkins/GitlabGet and analyze logs on Linux serversSelect and analyze the data from the oracle database manually and programmaticallyGenerate release recommendations based on execution resultsReport the bugs in Jira System

Requirements

3+ years of Selenium with Java and API Automation (REST, SOAP)Good knowledge of different testing methods, techniques and typesGood knowledge of Java and OOPKnowledge of BDD approaches (Cucumber / SpecFlow)Understanding of Agile/Scrum.Good English skills – Upper-Intermediate and above

Desirable

Knowledge of UK and/or Euro payment schemeExperience with micro service architecture projectsExperience with Apache CamelExperience with Spring BootUnderstanding of Messaging Queues (like Kafka)Good Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL or similar)Hand-on experience with Docker
