QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Developand maintain automated test scripts using Java and SeleniumWebDriver.
  • Collaborate with QA analysts andsoftware developers to understand project requirements and designtest scenarios.
  • Execute automated tests andanalyze results to identify defects and areas forimprovement.
  • Integrate automated tests into thecontinuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)pipeline.
  • Work closely with the developmentteam to ensure timely resolution of issues andbugs.
  • Utilize Zephyr for Jira to create andmanage test cases test cycles and testexecutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremoniessuch as sprint planning daily standups and sprintreviews.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of testframeworks and testing processes to increase efficiency andeffectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry bestpractices and emerging technologies in software testing andautomation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience as a QA AutomationEngineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency inJava programming language.
  • Handson experiencewith Selenium WebDriver for automated testing of webapplications.
  • Familiarity with Zephyr for Jirafor test case management.
  • Experience working inAgile development environments.
  • Solidunderstanding of software QA methodologies tools andprocesses.
  • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication andcollaboration skills.
  • Ability to workindependently and as part of a team in a fastpacedenvironment.
  • Attention to detail and acommitment to delivering highquality softwareproducts.
Preferred:
  • Experiencewith other automated testing tools/frameworks such as TestNG JUnitor Cucumber.
  • Knowledge of web technologiesincluding HTML CSS and JavaScript.
  • Familiaritywith version control systems such asGit.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g.ISTQB) is aplus.
