Mid-Level Shopify Developer

We are an international design & branding agency looking for a Mid-Level Shopify Developer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores for global clients. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and clear communication.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Build custom features and functionalities, ensuring seamless user experience
- Integrate third-party apps and APIs into Shopify stores
- Optimize performance, page speed, and responsiveness across devices
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs, ensuring smooth store operations
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver projects on time
- Stay updated with Shopify ecosystem updates, best practices, and new features
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of proven Shopify development experience
- Strong knowledge of Liquid templating, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6)
- Experience with Shopify Apps and API integrations
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus is a strong plus
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Nice to Have:
- Experience with headless Shopify / React or Vue frameworks
- Knowledge of SEO optimization for e-commerce
- Previous work on international projects
What We Offer:
- Full-time remote position (40 hrs/week)
- Monthly salary: USD 800–1100 (depending on experience)
