About Our Client:

Our client is one of the fastest-growing tech startups in the UK. Our client is looking for an IT Administrator. If you have experience in system functionality, infrastructure maintenance, and administration of the company's technical systems, we want to hear from you.


Job Description:

You’ll spend time on the following:

• Perform routine maintenance on servers, workstations, and network devices.

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing timely solutions to ensure minimal downtime.

• Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring it is secure and efficient.

• Design and implement efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.

• Monitor network performance, identifying and resolving connectivity issues.

• Install, configure, and update software applications used by the organization.

• Ensure all software is licensed and up-to-date.

• Implement and manage security protocols and data protection measures.

• Conduct regular system security audits and provide recommendations for improvements.

• Provide technical support to team members, addressing IT-related queries and issues.

• Train employees on IT best practices and the use of hardware and software.

• Maintain data backup systems and develop disaster recovery plans.

• Ensure data is regularly backed up and can be efficiently restored if necessary.

• Create and maintain IT documentation, including hardware and software inventories and procedures.

• Develop and update IT policies and procedures in alignment with industry best practices.

• Participate in IT projects and initiatives, coordinating tasks and timelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT.

• Make recommendations for system improvements and upgrades.


You are our ideal candidate if you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar.

• Have proven experience in managing Microsoft Defender, Intune, etc.

• Should have worked on processes and policies for ISO, SOC2, GDPR, etc.

• Professional qualifications in Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, or similar.

• Have a total of at least 5 years of post-qualification experience and 3 years of relevant experience.

• Strong knowledge of IT systems, network administration, and security protocols.

• Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and backup systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Have solid experience working on projects and managing your time in a hybrid environment.

• Strong aptitude for financial planning and mathematical literacy.

• Can manage workload with definitive timelines.

• Have a strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn.
