  • with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • communication and interpersonal skills.

  • certification (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter Data Integration 9.x Administrator Specialist) is a plus.


Platform Management :

  • configure, and maintain Informatica platforms including PowerCenter, Informatica DEI, and other related products.
  • the platform is up to date with the latest patches and upgrades.
  • platform performance and perform tuning to optimize efficiency and throughput.
  • up and manage multiple environments (development, QA, production). Implement environment cloning, backups, and disaster recovery processes.



System Administration:


  • user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure secure and appropriate access. Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and maintain user access logs.
  • platform security by configuring and monitoring security settings.
  • regular security assessments and audits to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • audit logs and generate compliance reports as needed.
  • with data engineers and analysts to understand data needs and requirements.
  • support in data modeling, schema design, and data mapping activities.


Daily Support and Incident Management:


  • day-to-day support for Informatica environments, addressing user queries and issues.
  • incident tickets, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
  • regular health checks of the Informatica platform and address any anomalies.
  • monitoring tools to track system performance and identify potential issues.
  • and manage regular backup procedures to ensure data protection.
  • and execute disaster recovery processes to minimize data loss and downtime.


Performance Monitoring and Optimization:


  • system performance metrics and logs to identify bottlenecks.
  • ETL processes, database interactions, and platform configurations for better performance.
  • system usage trends and plan for future capacity needs.
  • scaling strategies to accommodate growing data volumes and user demands.
  • proactive maintenance activities to prevent potential issues.
