Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an SAP Basis Consultant L2 at Happiest Minds Technologies in Bengaluru. The consultant will be responsible for SAP Basis administration, troubleshooting, consulting, and database administration tasks on a day-to-day basis.
Detailed JD
1. Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager) to ensure high availability and performance.
2. Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to maintain SAP stability and optimize system performance.
3. Conduct SAP upgrades, patch management, and apply support packages to keep systems up-to-date and secure.
4. Manage user administration, roles, and authorizations, and enforce SAP security standards.
5. Implement backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems, including regular disaster recovery testing.
6. Administer databases (SAP HANA, Oracle, MaxDB, etc.), including monitoring, patching, and tuning.
7. Manage and troubleshoot system integrations, RFCs, IDocs, and other interfaces.
8. Utilize SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring, change management, and incident resolution.
