The Chartered Accountant will oversee the financial health of Kuniya Group of Institution by ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, preparing financial reports, managing audits, and providing strategic financial advice. The role requires extensive experience in financial management, taxation, budgeting, and statutory compliance, with a focus on supporting the institution's long-term growth and stability.
Key Responsibilities :- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with accounting principles.
- Manage the preparation and filing of statutory accounts, tax returns, and other regulatory financial documents.
- Oversee budget planning, analysis, and control, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and institutional policies.
- Provide financial analysis and advice to management for decision-making and long-term strategy.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including income tax, GST, and other applicable taxes.
- Manage payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Review and improve financial processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide financial support for special projects, including infrastructure development and academic program expansion.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in financial legislation and best practices, implementing necessary changes within the institution.
- CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification from a recognized institute.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Experience working in the education sector or non-profit organizations.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial data management.
