Objective

To support PR function in day-to-day PR and external communications/media relations activities and undertake responsibilities aligning with overall broader objectives of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inputs in preparing PR messaging strategy and converting same into monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual calendar of activities
  • Write, produce and disseminate of both routine and complex communication products (e.g., media packets, news releases, op-eds, brochures, Q&A’s, presentations, briefing notes, online and social media content, speeches, etc.) about HCIN operations in India
  • Maintaining cordial and ensuring long-term relationships with key senior journalists/editors across print/online/electronic media
  • Identifying and evangelizing key influencers from social/digital media as well as bloggers in BFSI/NBFC segments
  • Coordinate scheduling and briefings for communications activities and press events across various cities where HCIN has presence involving external and/or internal audiences
  • Work closely with project teams to identify and mitigate reputational risks, and enhance stakeholder engagement efforts
  • Tracking and monitoring of news and views articles on HCIN on a daily basis through news tracker and other online/social media
  • Managing the media/press section on the website and ensuring timely updating of news articles about HCIN on the same
  • Effectively and efficiently managing PR agency and other vendors in ensuring deliverables such as weekly, monthly and quarterly PR reports Handling crisis communication situations both at headquarters and regional levels

Need to Have Areas

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in PR
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and a good team player
  • Experience with Public relations, Social media including Blogs
  • Knowledge of national/regional media trends, demonstrated awareness of NBFCs/BFSI area and ability to handle sensitive situations with target audiences and cultivate effective, productive client relationships/partnerships
