The Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst(Linux) is responsible for working on assigned projects andtechnical initiatives in an efficient/effective manner. The SeniorIT Infrastructure Analyst must possess a high degree of technicalknowledge regarding Linux systems and associated tools for managingthem.

Keyaccountabilities:

  • Proactively deploy and maintain Linux infrastructure toensure 24x7x365 uptime.
  • Engineering ofsolutions for various project and operational needs
  • Maintain best practices on managing systems and servicesacross all environments
  • Fault finding analysisand of logging information for reporting of performanceexceptions
  • Proactively monitoring systemperformance and capacity planning
  • Managecoordinate and implement software upgrades patches hotfixes
  • Create and modify scripts orapplications to perform tasks
  • Provide input onways to improve the stability security efficiency and scalabilityof the environment
  • Collaborate with otherteams and team members to develop automation strategies anddeploymentprocesses

Keyrequirements:

Musthave:

  • 810 yearsexperience in Linux administration andmanagement
  • In depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat CentOSDebian etc.
  • Hands on experiencewith databases on Linux
  • Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
  • Expert inShell Perl and/or Pythonscripting
  • Solid knowledge ofprotocols such as DNS HTTP LDAP andSNMP
  • Linuxcertifications (RHCT RHCE and LPIC)
  • Strong problem solving and communicationskills
  • Good learner and beable to pick up new technologyquickly.

Good tohave:

ITILCertification

  • Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure such asNutanix
  • Experience and familiarity with storagesolutions.
  • Experience and familiarity withAWS .
