We have offices in Gurugram and Chicago.Key Responsibilities:- Lead Design Projects: Manage and execute the design process from concept to final product for new features and improvements on the VMock platform.- User Research: Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and pain points.- Concept Development: Translate product requirements and user research insights into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.- Visual Design: Develop and maintain a consistent visual style and ensure the highest quality of visual design across all products.- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.- Design Systems: Build and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency across all digital products.- Data-Driven Design: Use data and analytics to inform design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance metrics.- Advocacy: Advocate for user-centered design and product thinking within the organization.- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.- Design QA: Communicate with engineering teams as designs are implemented to ensure products meet the usability standards. Analyze, resolve and track defects to closureSkills & Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.- Responsive Web-designing: Experience in designing for mobile and web applications.- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud.- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.- Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, Java Script).Preferred Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.- Experience working in a startup or tech environment.- Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices.
