Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Design and Development:
  • Develop and refine K-12 curriculum materials that align with educational standards and best practices.
  • Integrate innovative teaching methodologies and technologies into the curriculum to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive research on current educational trends, pedagogical strategies, and curriculum innovations.
  • Analyze data and feedback from educators and students to continuously improve curriculum content.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure the curriculum meets diverse learning needs.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to support educators in implementing the new curriculum effectively.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure all curriculum materials are accurate, up-to-date, and pedagogically sound.
  • Review and revise curriculum materials regularly based on feedback and educational advancements.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee curriculum development projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

  • Curriculum Quality:
  • Achieve a 95% satisfaction rate among educators and students regarding the quality and effectiveness of the curriculum.
  • Ensure all curriculum materials are aligned with national and international educational standards.
  • Innovation and Engagement:
  • Introduce at least five new and innovative teaching strategies or technologies into the curriculum annually.
  • Increase student engagement and learning outcomes by 20% within the first year of implementing the new curriculum.
  • Research and Feedback:
  • Conduct quarterly surveys to gather feedback from educators and students on curriculum effectiveness.
  • Use data from surveys and research to make informed improvements to the curriculum.
  • Collaboration and Training:
  • Facilitate a minimum of 50 hours of professional development workshops and training sessions for educators annually.
  • Ensure 90% of educators report increased confidence and competence in using the new curriculum.
  • Project Management:
  • Complete 100% of curriculum development projects within the agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain a high standard of project documentation and reporting for transparency and accountability.
